RecoverFitNow is a consumer resource for active adults comparing fitness-recovery products, recovery practices and gluten-free recovery nutrition.
Our initial research focus is supplements and recovery nutrition for people with celiac disease or strict gluten avoidance. We also cover recovery equipment and practical questions about movement, rest and recovery. Our aim is to help readers understand what is documented, what remains uncertain and which questions to ask before buying.
Who publishes this site
RecoverFitNow is published by Stefan van Zyl. Articles may appear under the byline RecoverFitNow Editorial, which identifies the publication’s editorial work rather than an individual clinician or a claim that a panel of experts reviewed the article.
We do not present RecoverFitNow as a medical provider. Any named professional reviewer will be identified only when that person has actually reviewed the article.
How we approach product research
Our editorial standard is to distinguish manufacturer statements, certification records, scientific evidence and consumer feedback. A product’s marketing language is not proof of its benefits, and a retailer listing alone is not enough to establish its gluten-free status.
We describe evaluations as research-based unless documented hands-on testing took place. We do not treat reading other people’s reviews as testing a product ourselves. Our Editorial Methodology explains the standards we are introducing and applying as we review the site.
Older articles are being reviewed against these standards. The existence of this policy does not mean that every older article has completed that review.
Our commercial model
RecoverFitNow is being developed as a reader-supported affiliate publication. Where a link can earn us a commission, the relevant page should explain that relationship before its affiliate recommendations. A product’s place in an article should depend on its relevance and the available evidence, rather than its commission rate.
The limits of our content
Our content provides general consumer information. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe treatment or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. We do not promise that a supplement treats celiac disease or that any product is universally safe for everyone avoiding gluten.
